MI2, Music or Movie?

For those of you wondering whether this was an Action film, well it wasn't. It was a more like a film version of an album listening party. So, instead of having a usual album listening party to release an album, the good guys at Chocolate City decided to showcase the acclaimed MI's sophomore attempt as a feature film.

The star studded event featured performances from of course MI himself, the Choc boiz, Loose Kaynon and many others.

Designers' Lounge presents RedFASHION

As guests surrounded The Poolside, Rehab Bar & Lounge, enjoying chilled champagne and browsing through fabulous wears, the designers prepared their models to strut their stuff on the runway. The event featured various designers, including Ejiro Amos Tafiri, T.T.Dalk, Glue Clothing. This 2nd Edition of the Designers’ Lounge Fashion Sale/Party was hosted by Toolz of the Beat 99.9

With live performances from Yemi Alade, Lanky C and guest appearances from Banky W, Goldie and others, the RedFASHION themed event was a huge success. We're definitely looking forward to the next edition!

Neks2u Style Spotter: A Ghanaian Wedding

My last weekend in the beautiful capital city of Accra included an impromptu invitation to a glamorous Ghanaian wedding. As enthralled as I was with the constant bustle of the metropolitan city, so was I with the culture and tradition involved in their marriages.

A traditional wedding is the first and initial step in the process to solidify the relationship. After, which a church ceremony is held , for further blessing and solemnization. The couple, family and well wishers then proceed for the ceremony, where refreshments are served, speeches given...... you know, the usual.

The final and most beautiful is an intimate dinner, where close friends and family are hosted by the couple to an array of traditional delicacies. SLURP!!
