Ever wondered how the back scenes at LPM worked and how they managed to put a fantastic show last December. Well you're just in luck! The LPM documentary for the December Grande Marche is ready, the LPM team wanted to share it with you fabulous customers! It shows the fashion event and market proper, as well as the model casting and other bits that went into creating the December event.

Indeed the rumours have been confirmed! Nollywood Actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde was spotted on the red carpet at the 2011 edition of the Grammys, courtesy of her New international management "Bishop Entertainment consult & Bungalo/Universal records. Omo sexy, as she is also known, is the first Nollywood star to grace the red carpet of such a notable award show and for that, Neks2u is extrememly proud!

Neks2u Style Report: The Runway, A Fashion and Music Event

Designer, Wanger Ayu debuts label, Wanger Ayu

Fashion and Music was in the air as fabulously dressed folks gathered for Abuja's biggest fashion show of the year. The Runway, a Fashion and Music event took place on Friday, 17th December at the spacious and palatial grounds of Thisday Dome Abuja. The event promised to present Abuja’s finest in fashion design, with interjections of musical performances from a few of Nigeria’s hottest artists. Guests enjoyed Hors d’oeuvres and champagne while watching the models strut on the runway, showcasing the collections from selected designers.

The event was an impressive combination of eclectic, luxury and sophistication, making for an applaudable debut edition for The Runway team, featuring both seasoned and up and coming designers. The designers included Berry’s Couture, Dzyn, E4MA, Hayah: True Religion Collection, House of Silk, Maya Couture, Wanger Ayu, Reedas, Ressurection and Vodi. The Black Carpet was hosted by Denrele and then joined by Dooshima Dabo'Adzuana (Kiss FM), in presenting the entire show. Musical performances from Ochuko, Addiction, Wizkid, Kas Fimile, Ice Prince and Brymo made for a very exciting and upbeat show.

The Runway Organising team: Ireti Dada, Ofure Adive, Makeup Artist and Ogwa Ogbeh

According to The Runway Organising Team, the event was introduced as “an avenue to showcase Abuja’s hidden talent, as designers in Abuja more often than not, do not get the deserved publicity”. The Team are also looking forward to unveiling a 2nd Edition of The Runway, promising a bigger show with even more fashion and more music. Well, judging from the turn out of their debut effort, we absolutely cannot wait!

MI2, Music or Movie?

For those of you wondering whether this was an Action film, well it wasn't. It was a more like a film version of an album listening party. So, instead of having a usual album listening party to release an album, the good guys at Chocolate City decided to showcase the acclaimed MI's sophomore attempt as a feature film.

The star studded event featured performances from of course MI himself, the Choc boiz, Loose Kaynon and many others.
