Nigerian HipHop World Awards Nominee Party

It was a hip hop hurray affair at the official Hiphop World Awards Nominee Party held on Friday the 21st of May 2010. With just one week left to the most prestigious music awards in Nigeria, various celebrities and fans alike gathered to celebrate Nigerian music and the nominated artistes. Amongst the celebrities present, it was disappointing to note that my favourite brothers, MI and Jesse Jagz were absent from the event.

For those of you who missed, don't fret! You can still catch the award show, which is scheduled to hold on May 29, 2010 at the Eko Exhibition Hall from 6pm, with the theme of "Power, Prestige and Pride".

Silverbird Presents....TGIF

It was a packed crowed at the Silverbird Entertainment Centre Abuja, on Friday night, the 7th of May 2010. Contrasting heavily to the previous night, after news of our late presido was announced, everyone was excited to the see the week end, meet up with friends and watch Jesse Jagz perform live for free!


With performances from our very own 2Short, Magnito, Play Boy Butter and Escow and ofcourse a final act from Jesse Jagz, it was definitely a night to remember!

Beware! This is not for the faint of heart. If you can brave the Islands of Lagos, just in search of that perfect pair gladiators or that snakeskin handbag, with a price tag that favors even the most frugal, then you my dear are a bonified fashionista!

This particular trip, is not one of leisure, nor of a relaxing mood often associated with shopping.

This is a place where the same items from your favourite boutiques are half the price (or less if you know how to bargain properly. I'm only just learning myself)!

You'll be amazed the variety in style, colour, quality and size you can get at any of these shops.

No, it isn't Heaven. It's just fashion for less!

Tiwa Savage - Voice of an Angel

She's hot, she's got a great voice and she's Nigerian!

Having done backup for the likes of George Micheal, Blu Cantrell and Kelly Clarkson, Tiwa Savage is on her way to make it as a huge RnB star.

The beautful singer, narrowly missed out from being amongst the finals in the British show X factor.
