MTN and The British Council To Sponsor Lagos Fashion and Design Week

We are excited to announce that Telecom multinational, MTN and The British Council have teamed up with StyleHouseFiles to produce what will be a magnanimous milestone in the Nigerian Fashion industry. It was officially announced on Thurday, 30th June 2011 that this year October, Lagos will host one of Nigeria's biggest fashion initiative, MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week. The collaboration between these entities aim to create a platform for Nigerian designers to showcase their innovation and creativity to further increase productivity in the fashion industry in Nigeria, which is already playing a huge role in uplifting our economy. 

How exactly does this affect you? Well, apart from the amazing catwalk shows featuring new season collections from the best talents in the fashion industry, design exhibitions, seminars and workshops, aspiring creatives stand a chance to win awards in three different categories. The MTNLFDW competition is now open and the deadline for application is Sunday, 24th July 2011. To register, log unto the website, select and fill out the form of the category that applies to you.
